The ‘Ulum al-Quran classes in this level are designed to give students an account into the history of the Quran itself including its revelation, collection, preservation and much more.

Outcomes:
- Enhance the understanding of the historical context of the Quran, stages of revelation, the compilation thereof, the causes of revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul), and the classification of surahs and certain verses
- Enhance Quranic vocabulary
- Obtaining firm grasp of Quranic methodology and principles employed for interpretation
